Problem Note 44449: SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager returns the error "Could not open WSDL..." after you edit a CICommon Web Service Activity
When you edit one of the CICommon Web Service Activities and then execute it in SAS Real-Time Decision Manager, you might receive an error similar to the error below:
CIConfirmTreatment FAILED.
com.sas.analytics.ph.RTDMException: Could not open WSDL at [http://ci53bmid:9082/ccs/services/PTUpdate?wsdl].
Either the URI is incorrect or the web service is unavailable at this time. See log for more information:

Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: ci53bmid
The CICommon Web Service Activities are CIConfirmTreatment, CIContactHistory, and CIResponseHistory. When you edit and save one of these activities, the URL in the associated Web service resource definition is replaced with an incorrect default URL.
To correct the URL, open the SAS Customer Intelligence Plug-in for SAS Management Console. Go to Application, Resources, Decision, Processes, and right-click on the resource that has changed. Click Edit and then replace the default fields with the correct fields for your environment. The complete correct URL is given in the instructions.html file that was generated during the initial configuration of SAS Real-Time Decision Manager.
